What Is D-Chiro-Inositol?

The two forms most commonly used in women’s supplements are myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol.
Both occur naturally in the body and are involved in cellular signalling and metabolic processes, but they are not identical. The body can also convert some myo-inositol into D-chiro-inositol.
This relationship is one reason the two forms are often used together in inositol formulas.
What Makes Caronositol Different?
Caronositol is not another type of inositol. The ingredient itself provides D-chiro-inositol.
What makes it distinctive is its source.
Rather than simply listing generic D-chiro-inositol, Caronositol identifies a specific proprietary ingredient produced from compounds naturally found in carob fruit.
